With over a decade of experience in commercial litigation, Jessica has established a strong reputation for effectively representing clients in a variety of complex legal matters. Jessica's practice focuses on community association law, construction litigation, contract disputes, and real estate disputes and transactions. She has extensive experience litigating disputes for her clients on both the plaintiff and defense side and skillfully navigates the litigation process from initial investigation to trial and appeal. Jessica strives to achieve pre-suit or early resolutions whenever possible but as an experienced litigator, will not hesitate to take a matter to court when necessary. Known for her strong advocacy skills, she is committed to delivering favorable results while maintaining clear communication with her clients throughout the process.
Jessica also has extensive experience advising property owners associations throughout Texas. After many years of working with clients in major cities and subdivisions, Jessica now focuses primarily on rural and grazing communities. Throughout her career, Jessica has successfully guided clients through the complexities and challenges that arise within these specialized communities, offering expert counsel on matters ranging from general corporate governance to deed restriction enforcement and assessment collection. Jessica delivers strategic and creative solutions that align with the long-term goals of these community associations.
Jessica is a 2007 graduate of Tulane University where she swam for the Women's Division I Swimming & Diving Team. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. While attending Tulane, Jessica was an Academic All-American and member of the 2005 Conference USA Championship Team. Jessica and her teammates were inducted into the Tulane Hall of Fame in 2015.
After earning her undergraduate degree, Jessica continued her education at Barry University School of Law where she interned for two commercial litigation firms. During her third year of law school, Jessica volunteered at the law school's immigration clinic to assist Haitian earthquake refugees gain temporary status in the U.S.
Jessica is licensed in Texas and is an active member of the Community Association Institute.
